स्रोत पाठ - अंग्रेजी The Business of Tourism is a constantly evolving one. You have been introduced to this industry and its fluid nature in the previous chapters and, by now, you are aware that the Tourism Industry has an identity of its own with distinct requirements. As a student of tourism, knowing about the components, elements, types, and nature of Tourism is just not enough to be a part of tourism business. The Tourism industry and the way of doing business i.e. the activities of a travel agent, tour operators and other stake holders are ever changing and diversifying. For example, services such as airline tickets or hotel room booking that were once available only from a travel agent are now directly available to a traveller through internet. A tourist no longer has to depend only on the travel agent or tour operator for information of the destinations he/ she wants to visit or even on the hotels he/ she wants to stay in. Various websites are available that cater only to the needs of the tourists and travellers.
