Mr. Uslar Gathmann is a graduate of economics and finance in the University of Grenoble (Licencié Sciences Économiques), France so he is also fluent in French. For the same reason stated above, he got his knowledge of French certified by the French Government through the DALF-C2 (2011) which is the European Union equivalent of the British Certificate of Proficiency as proof of the highest language skills for a non-native speaker. He is currently seeking a translation certification similar to the level of the CIoL in the FR-SP language pair.
He presently does pro-bono translatios for Translators without Borders and is an active (Pro) member of Proz.com. He uses Wordfast as CAT.
