I am Ahmad Jalil, the CEO, Founder, and Owner of The Linguals, a translation and localization company that provides language services in over 100 languages worldwide. I started this company after nearly 11 years of working as a full-time freelance translator, and my goal has always been simple: to help people and businesses communicate clearly across languages, no matter where they are.

I hold a BS in Translation & Interpretation from IIUI and a BS in Urdu from NUML. I'm a certified member of the American Translators Association (ATA) and the Certified Pro Network on ProZ.com, where I won the 31st Translation Contest for English to Urdu. I work in English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Pashto, and I've tested at C2 proficiency in English (84/100 on EFSET) and scored 59/60 on the TYL Urdu test.

At The Linguals, we've translated over 15 million words and edited or proofread more than 25 million words across just about every field you can think of—medical, legal, IT, gaming, finance, engineering, e-commerce, education, and media, to name a few. I'm also a published author—my book Rastoon ke Darmiaan came out in November 2022. I'm comfortable using pretty much every major CAT tool out there, including Trados, MemoQ, Smartling, and Phrase, and I personally handle quality assurance and client relationships for the company. We offer translation, editing, subtitling, transcription, LQA, and transcreation, and we're known for delivering top-notch quality on time, every time.
