"I cannot get access to any of the course material you send to me on april 28th in support of the workshop. I click on the each of the links and I get Proz page and get the same answer: I am sorry the page you requested cannot be found. what's the matter?
Thank you for your help,
"I unfortunately had to leave half-way because I couldn't stay longer - the reminders we were getting from ProZ mentionned a 1-hour workshop, while in fact it was supposed to be 2 hours. I wanted to keep listening to the presentation using the phone number, but I was disappointed that no other phone number was made available for European participants, for example. Calling a US phone number with my mobile phone would have been extremely costly. I hope the audio recording and the presentation will be made available to the participants, at least I'll be able to read what I've missed."
"Good lecture, with many tips which I'm sure will come in very useful. However, as said in previous comments, the sound quality was not the best. Maybe it was down to the audio equipment used, though I have a feeling it could also be the internet connection at fault (not being able to stream data fast enough). Nevertheless, I thought it was a good, informative seminar and I will look out for future seminars."
"I did not like the audio setup. I paid for a professional webinar, and I was expecting one. If I have to struggle to hear what is going on, or hear Doug wonder about why he isn't being heard, then it makes the session feel improvised.
On a good note, I thought that Doug knew what he was talking about and he was concerned about getting his points across. I would have welcomed a joke or two...an ice breaker to lighten things up a bit.
The other thing I would have liked is for the webinar proper to have lasted an hour and a half, and half an hour for answering questions.
To ProZ staff: please polish and hone your webinars and definitely work on the sound issues. This is such a valuable resource you are offering, especially for those of us who are far away from North America and Europe. I would very much like to participate in more of them."
"I was very satisfied with the content and presentation and didn't mind it being spoken quickly. I would have liked some more specific examples, perhaps some role playing. It was annoying that time was lost before the sound quality became acceptable. Also, the duration of the course was given as one hour when in fact it was two -- which is good, because we received more information, but also bad for my planning.
All in all, I'll be back for more when an interesting subject comes up."
"Slight sound quality problems need to be improved upon for further seminars.
Course content described was well covered.
Overall interesting and informative.
The system of being able to ask questions in writing in a little box at the side of the screen is very good, as it is very discreet and does not interrupt the flow of the webinar. The question I asked was addressed very quickly. It is practical that the participants' microphones are muted, so that background noise on the participants' premises cannot be heard."
"Although I never could check connectivity beforehand, at the time of the session everything connected fine. The audio quality was a bit fuzzy, but it was OK for me as a native English speaker. I can imagine others might have had some difficulty following the words. All in all a great workshop, all the points made were very useful. I'll definitely be checking out what other workshops are on offer. Thank you!"
