I'm working on a doc with 520 footnotes (!!). I find it frustrating that I can't use the insert placeable command to shift it from the source to the target. So I have to go select it manually and cut and then paste it manually.
Why? Because footnotes are normally placed without a space after a word and without a separating space it's not seen as a separate placeable.
Any known workarounds?

Use find and replace to add a space?

Not sure exactly how to go about doing FR for footnotes though...
Or somehow tweak one of the placeable settings in PB?
Or just add a space manually 520 times and remove extra spaces later...
Use WFP? Not sure how well WFP handles footnotes, never had the opportunity to test that.
