The installation went fine, workbench recognized my license key but when I tried to configure Multiterm (Translation Recognition Option) workebench doesn't show any multiterm option (mine should be Multiterm iX) and if I click on local termbase, the program shuts down with a messegge error. Please can anyone help me with this matter? I know I can work without multiterm, but for this project I need my glossary....:((. A great thank in advance!!! In the Term Recognition options you need to tell whether its a 5 or a 7 version of MultiTerm. And if it is a 5.x Version, well, why not install 7 anyhow... regards Vito

It was a "known problem", believe it or not. However I would advise against using MT iX - it does not work well with Workbench. I am actually trying to go back to MT5, but Trados seems to bar me from doing this! | | | Raffaella Magi McCann (X) Regno Unito Local time: 00:41 Da Inglese a Italiano + ... Hi Raffaella and Luca, I don't doubt your problems, but at the same time I would like to avoid overgeneralisation - I have been using MTiX for several years, without problems. Have you checked the Microsoft .NET framework installed on your PC? Many MTiX-related problems reported in this forum were caused by the wrong .NET framework being installed. Best regards, Ralf

I have had this kind of problems. After uninstalling all Trados related software and Multiterm (remember backup of Multiterm glossaries!), and reinstallation the problems should disappear, but you will need to remove all programs first, not just Trados or Multiterm. Reboot your system, and reinstall. It might seem strange, but this worked for me. But not the first time...I had to reinstall the package twice to get things back to normal. Good luck.
