Trados - cannot hide source text

Im using a demo mode of trados 7 to translate some small files, with the restrictions that a demo implies.
But when i try to hide the source segments to review the translation and the click the button to do so nothing happens. Is this a demo restriction or am i doing something wrong?
Even when i use Wordfast the same happens.
Is wordfast compatuble with Trados?
Is it better to do the translation with an wDFAST TM and if doing so there would be no problems to open a transl... See more

Using Word with Trados? Mar 16, 2006

If it is Word that you are using with Trados, go to Tools, Options and under the tab "View" uncheck "Hidden Text" under "Formatting Marks". That should do the trick with word and let you hide any hidden text.
