Hello, Today is the third time that my Trados freelance version 6.5 will no open larger TMs. Every time I get the message "Translation memory too large for demo mode. Install a valid license file or connect a dongle to the parallel port". I've reinstalled Trados twice and it worked properly, but I won't have to do that every time I need to work with Trados !!! (I've got a lincence key). Can somebody help me ???!!! Thanks in advance

Go to the Help menu, chose About, press License Manager and tell Trados where your license file is. For uknown reasons it must have forgotten that. HTH Jerzy

but I did it, several times. I even went back to the Customer center to download the license file once again, the license test is always successful. I've exited and restarted Trado's translator workbench, nothing helped!

Have you changed any settings? Did you restart the PC between the installations? Sometimes it helps. Please also register your Trados in your system (Start - Programs -Trados - Register Trados 6.5 freelance) and then restart the PC. This should help. Good luck Jerzy

Hi Flovi, License files are generated on the basis of data collected from your network adaptor (LAN card) or harddisk. Did you change either of the two recently? Best regards, Ralf

Good morning friend I think license key is the solution because in lots of other computer somftware you need to consider license key to to avoid demo version to and to run normally without having to reinstall. I hope this could solve the matter.
