The one common denominator between AVG and Kaspersky is that both of them have gotten into trouble with controversies on privacy.

The Kaspersky one is debatable. With AVG, however, there's definitely fire.

Didn't Avast do it as well? I forgot.

And AVG is owned by Avast now.
