Paste options button no longer appears

Hi all,

I am working in MS Word 2010 and when I paste something, the paste options button that used to appear, doesn't now. I've verified in Word Options > Advanced > Cut, copy, paste that the "show paste options button" is checked - but still -- no button(

Any ideas?

Repeat copying Jun 5, 2012

Sometimes this happens when, for one reason or another, you may not have properly copied the text you wanted to copy. It happens especially if you are copying text from a website or other source outside your document. Some websites even have a hidden code to prevent people from copying.
