Hello everyone,
I'm sure many of you have stumbled across this error while working with Studio 2009:
"Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index"
I have just found a solution, and thought about posting it here, in case anyone needs it, for future reference.
The problem with the set of files I was working with, was that the path for the entire project structure was too long.

I have just found a solution, and thought about posting it here, in case anyone needs it, for future reference.
The problem with the set of files I was working with, was that the path for the entire project structure was too long.
I opened an sdlppx package and created a folder structure as usual. Then, when I tried to create a separate package from those, to send to a colleague of mine who would be working on half the project with me, I could not create it, because I got the message "Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index"
Turns out, one of the paths for the project structure was too long. I don't know which one, but when I moved the entire structure to a much "shallower" folder on my computer, the entire thing worked fine.
So, for future reference, keep in mind to work with small paths, when it comes to folder structures.
I've tested it repeatedly, and found that this problem pops up even when you try to save target files, or perform an analysis, or any other task you can do with Trados, so keep it in mind that it might be because of a too long path/depth of file structure.
