Travel to the US as a tourist or visitor (you have at least one relative living in the US, don't you?) and open an account when you're there like others have done. The ticket and visa will set you back quite a bit, but if you think of it as a one-time business expense it's not so bad. Plus it's an awesome place for shopping while you're at it...

I have been reading this thread and I'm really interested in knowing the costs of keeping these accounts, especially when you are just getting started in the business and still don't use them too often. I'd like to ask those who already have an account in the US: How much is (in average) the maintenance fee? Which is the less expensive type of account? Saving? Checking? Both of them receive local and international wire transfers and provide a card to withdraw money from everywhere? Does any one of them have limitations? What are the costs involved when receiving small amounts of money? Let's say between USD 100 and 300. Is it worth? What are the fees or taxes to be paid when receiving money from another US bank? Which are these fees when receiving a payment from abroad?
I live in Argentina, and I've heard that here it is too expensive to get the cash from Paypal, so I'm looking for the most convenient option. ▲ Collapse

Hi guys, Seems it's been a long time since the first thread. Anyway, in my case, I opened a Payoneer online and then they recommended me to open a US bank account (First Century Bank) and European bank account (Wirecard), and I did it. Hope this helps.
