I am a pensioner of the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE) since 1995. As an officer of the MOE I was responsible in development of tests in Malay Language and the social sciences and administration of of national examinations. I began my career in education as a teacher of Malay, English, and geography from 1962 until I was transfered to the Ministry of Education in 1972.
I have translated books in Geography, pedagogy, and motivation from English into Malay since 1990 on a part-time basis. I have compiled Malay Dictionary for primary schools and secondary schools also on a part-time basis. Since 2000 I wrote text books in Civics for Form 3 and 4 for the use of the Ministry of Education. I am currently writing reference and workbooks in Malay for secondary schools and compiling a Malay-English dictionary. I am also doing translation work from English into Malay in the field of Pedagogy, management, and literature on a freelance basis.
