Swedish term
ab
Swedish to English
Law/Patents
Law: Patents, Trademarks, Copyright
trademark infringement
Often used to show where sections of a case have been quoted from, e.g (ab 60).
Anyone know what this stands for, please? I wonder if it's Latin, as it seems to be used in English references too.
Advice appreciated.

I don't know about English references, but I have certainly seen Ab used as an abbreviation for "aktbilaga" in Swedish legal documents. As I understand it an aktbilaga is a document in a case, a filed document (with a number) or something like that. An equivalent English abbreviation might be FDN (file document no.) or just DN (document no.).
