Spanish term

T.V.I

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Economics
(Average Rate of Year-on-Year Variation)

T.V.I is listed as a column heading in a table (Economic Evolution of the Culture and Leisure Industry).

It means "Tasa media de variación interanual"

What I need to know is the EXACT acronym used for this in English (Average Year-on-Year Variation Rate) - if it even exists!

Jury still out on this as it´s being revised. I settled for Avg Y/Y VR in the end. Thanks for your time and suggestions everybody!

Hi Lisa: This is what I have been able to find for you as far as an acronym is concerned:
YOY = Year On Year (or Year Over Year) (http://www.investopedia.com/terms/y/year....)

I've worked with lots of financial reports and I hunted for an acronym today and can't find one. There may not be anything nice and short. If you don't want to write it out in full and you're tight for space, you could try something like "Avg Y/Y Var".
