Song lyric
Eu nasci com o samba
No samba me criei
E do danado do samba
Nunca me separei
OK, this song I know really well, and I know exactly what this means, but I need some way to say it in English that doesn't sound dumb! TIA!

blessed
With samba I was born
in samba I was bred
and (the) blessed samba and I
were never parted
OR
and from the blessed samba
never was I parted
Below are my dictionary's thesaurus suggestions for "damned" which appears to me to most literal translation of 'danado'. I chose 'blessed' because it seems appropriate. "danado" often carries an element of affection, as hence my choice of 'blessed' which carries the same element of reluctant affection for the thing in question.
damned
adjective
1 damned souls cursed, doomed, lost, condemned to hell; anathematized; literary accursed.
2 informal : this damned car won't start blasted, damn, damnable, confounded, rotten, wretched; informal blessed, bloody; dated accursed.
I spent sometime, trying to make it all rhyme in English but I haven't yet been able to do it :-)
If I think of something better, I'll add a note.

I love Mike (de Oliveira) Brady's suggestion for the whole translation in his agree with Luiz.
He really makes it rhyme!
But I'd still use 'blessed' rather than 'irresistible'...

Comment: "Thanks, Paula, this is really perfect, since "blessed" carries another subtle meaning that is practical identical with "danado" in this context."

goddam; irresistible
This is the idea behind "danado" in this case, a typical Brazilian expression. In this context, it refers to something that you cannot resist, like saying "I love that goddam samba", but it is not pejorative.

: I was born with the samba. The samba made me me. And from the irresistable samba, I never will be free!
