Portuguese term

a serviço das marcas

Portuguese to English Tech/Engineering Marketing / Market Research
This is a translation for website content. This is a branding company. I'm having a little trouble with the term "marca" because sometimes the appropriate translation is "brand" and sometimes "branding." The trouble is that "brand" sometimes comes off as awkward in English. Also, I'm confused as to what "a serviço" is. I thought "serviço" was a masculine word....

Thanks, Cláudio :) I thought, in that case, that it would be "ao serviço" but I guess I'm wrong. Portuguese is very cool - and very confusing :)
Claudio Rondeico Nov 6, 2012:
this "a" is a preposition Ryan, the letter "a" before "serviço" is a preposition, not a feminine definite article.

I truly don't know whether I could use genitive case here.
