Portuguese term

embargadas as mismas

Portuguese to English Law/Patents Law (general)
From a court ruling, Brazil

Vistos, relatados e discutidos estes autos de embargos de declaração, sendo embargantes [list of companies] e embargadas as mismas.

embargante = petitioner, embargada = respondent, right? In which case the above makes no sense to me...

thanks!

the same being (judgment debtors) subject to the levy of execution

if embargantes are the (UK) judgment/ (US) execution creditors 'levying execution' and execution is levied against the same as *judgement/ execution debtors* by 'freezing accounts' etc., then there must be some Brazilian scenario where the companies are suing each other.
