Brazilian Birth Certificate
This comes from a Brazilian birth certificate (Brasilia - DF).
It actually appears in one of the official stamps on the page certifying that the document is an exact copy of the original, etc. It appears underneath the name and address on the stamp and says:
"AUTENTICAÇÃO (efs)
CONFERE COM O ORIGINAL DE ACORDO COM O ARTIGO 7º V. DA LEI 8.535 DE 18/11/94..."
I am not sure what the "efs" part would be. I don't know if it is an acronym, or someone's initials? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Tonia

Note from asker:
Thank you for your response. I don't think I was clear in my original posting, but (efs) was actually part of the stamp. It wasn't handwritten on top of or next to the stamp on the document. I ended up leaving it untranslated on the document, though, as I also didn't think it was an acronym. Thanks again for all your help. Best regards. |
