How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

Crop Selection
Farmers must take into account several considerations which will affect the success of relay intercropping. Small grain cereal crop selection may be made from wheat, oat, barley, rye, triticale, or possibly others. The key is to select a crop which has a market infrastructure developed in the region and one with which the farmers have some knowledge of management practices.

Zmieniła się także struktura gatunkowa zbiorów zbóż podstawowych, w których udział żyta zmniejszył się w analizowanym okresie z prawie 27% do niespełna 17% na rzecz pszenżyta, którego udział zwiększył się z 11 do prawie 18%. Udział pszenicy – podstawowego gatunku uprawianego w Polsce – wahał się w analizowanych latach w granicach 40-43%, jęczmienia wynosił około 16%, a owsa zmniejszył się z 8 do 6,5%.

Cereals cultivated in Poland
The cereal species structure is determined by climate and soil conditions. Wheat is the predominant cereal in the domestic production. The share of production of triticale and barley is systematically growing. The production of maize is also characterised by the growing tendency. However, the share of cereal blends and rye in the domestic production has decreased in the recent period. The share of oats is quite stable.
