Extract from hospital record for a patient being treated for ongoing back problems
Hi, the patient records include the following sentence regarding a report faxed over to the Norwegian hospital from England. I just can't determine what is meant by the abbreviation 'konf', though:
"konf ang [angivelig] skriv på engelsk".
"konf ang [angivelig] skriv på engelsk".

There are a couple of different options for "Konf" ("konferert"), but in this case, I would translate "Konf ang" as "discussed". "Kong" is fairly common in Norwegian and Danish discharge summaries and similar medical records.

They often refer to things in the present tense because notes are recorded while things are ongoing.
