"For at faa de 800 hundre koner af skjöden maatte jeg gaa til en sakförer og faa ham til og sende det ind til Depardementet og saa faa det af med dem [dom?]"

'skjöden' does indeed mean title deed, saa faa det af med dem - can be expressed in an modern terms as get it from them or even sort it out with them. Orthography was erratic at that time, and the last word is almost certainly 'dem'.
