German term

Abstands- und Absorptionsgesetz

German to English Tech/Engineering Physics Radioactivity
I need either the English equivalent or the korrekte deutsche Bezeichnung.

The only occurrence is in:

Discussion

Non-ProZ.com Aug 6, 2004:
I can't seem to access the glossary now that I have declined the suggestions. The correct English term for Abstandsgesetz is 'inverse square law'.

principle of distance and absorption

As a radioacctivity passes through air and water it becomes absorbed. The farther it goes the weaker it becomes. Something on this order at any rate.

agree Derek Gill Franßen : I have found "Law of Distance and Absorption" (see: http://www.fizika.org/skripte/of-prakt/of-praktikum.html).
