Two pictures of piglets, captioned: Bunte Hausschwein-Ferkel and Rosa Hausschwein-Ferkel. It looks like "bunte Hausschwein" and "rosa Hausschwein" are breeds or varieties of domestic pig, but I am not sure what these breeds are called in English.

Hello! I'm not sure you want to get too technical on the breeds without knowing exactly what the ones described in your text are, but pink domestic pigs are usually referred to as "white" and many of the coloured varieties are called "spotted" (e.g. Gloucester Old Spot breed, etc). I would not quite call it a different breed, but I have seen the common pink variety and the speckled variety.

: Agree, the German Schwarzbunt Niederungsvieh is black and white spotted, like the Holstein dairy cattle, and if these are specific breeds, there probably isn't an exact translation...most American pigs are hybrids anyway.
