From a price list for a software package. I can't find a translation for "Arbeitsplatzlizenz" anywhere. Could it be "business licence"? Is there such a thing as a "workplace licence" or "workstation licence"? TIA for your help.

workstation licence

Arbeitsplatzlizenz means that the licence applied to only computer. As far as I remember, it's called a workstation licence, but please wait for the peers to comment on this

agree Steven Sidore : agree, although there are in fact subtle differences between since-user and workstation licenses.

agree Klaus Herrmann : Interesting question remains whether Arbeitsplatz refers to hardware (=workstation) or personnel (=user). Workstation seems to be more likely.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks Elvira. I think I'll use "workstation licence", but "single-user licence" would be great if it definitely referred to personnel (the text doesn't make that clear). Anyway, thanks again Elvira, and thanks also to the peer graders for some great comments. Appreciate everyone's help."
