I'm afraid I don't have much context. This is from part of a circuit diagram; overall context: motion control.
Any help with "Beilauflitze auflegen" much appreciated, and if anyone has a clue what BGE could mean here, I'd appreciate your input.
TIA, Beth

connect drain wire
Auflegen = to connect (electrician's and telco guy's term)
Beilauflitze = drain wire (an additional wire, usually to used to connect a shielding foil, e. g. a mylar foil, which in your case is the Zentralschirm).
Ref.: translated a lot of cable specs last year...

Sorry, as for BGE, I don\'t have a clue. A wild guess - Betriebsgeräte-Erdanschluß. Technically, it could make sense, but it\'s kind of far-fetched. On the other hand, it\'s long enough a word to occur in German circuit diagrams. Again, that\'s really a guess.

Sorry, Betriebsgeräte-Erdanschluß does not make sense. The text states the inner and outer must not touch. This clearly eliminates this guess. Meybe it\'s a connector or a device.

Given your context (motion control), this might be it: \'The BGE 2406 is a 1-quadrant controller designed for BG43 and BG63 brushless motors...\' (http://www.dunkermotoren.com/download/kataloge/2001/BG_E.PDF...

Comment: "Perfect (Dunker motors are mentioned in the drawing somewhere) - this really helped. Thanks very much!"
