German term

4-Ziegeleck

German to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering Roof tiles
The subject is roof tiles. I am not sure how to phrase this - "4-tile corner" sounds wrong to me. The sentence in question is:

Thanks in advance.

Thank you, Björn Looks like it is the obvious, despite my doubts.
Björn Vrooman Aug 1, 2020:
@Sarah Spell out the number:

Falz should be lap: http://www.stoneroof.org.uk/historic/Historic_Roofs/Slate_la...

Not so sure about the rest but it could prolly be gleaned from the above.

4-tile corner

It's the shape of the roof tiles what this is about. This is a special tile for securing roofs against damaging winds. The design of the tile is made to interlock 4 tiles for additional strength against uplifting. also see https://www.erlus.com/assetdownload?assetId=689
