: I think Fachschulausbildung = further education in the United Kingdom, or continuing education in the United States.

: What about "primary"? Is there any way to combat the Germans' zeal for overprecision? // Will agree, regardless. You may well be right. There used to be a time elementary school showed up on German CVs, no kidding. I feel old.

I don't know anyone who includes pre-secondary in their CV. If the list were to be overburdened in this way, it would need to be inverted: Certification of education (primary, secondary and tertiary) // Thanks
