Discussion

Björn Vrooman Aug 4, 2016:
@schmetterlich To not confuse you: Most likely, primary school won't be included, just as Lancashireman did not include it as well.

I don't know whether the following link is relevant to your document:
https://www.haufe.de/sozialwesen/sgb-office-professional/anr...

The legal basis for "Anrechnungszeiten":
http://www.buzer.de/gesetz/886/a12113.htm

Here, it's only from secondary upward (and after the person's 17th birthday). Don't know what your doc shows.

secondary, tertiary and higher education

Literally
certification of (periods of) secondary tertiary and higher education
"periods of" is redundant

Alternatively:
secondary and tertiary education
as higher is included in the tertiary bracket
or (as L Poost suggests below)
secondary, further and higher education
Note from asker:
Thank you!
Peer comment(s):

neutral Liane Poost : I think Fachschulausbildung = further education in the United Kingdom, or continuing education in the United States.

agree Björn Vrooman : What about "primary"? Is there any way to combat the Germans' zeal for overprecision? // Will agree, regardless. You may well be right. There used to be a time elementary school showed up on German CVs, no kidding. I feel old.

I don't know anyone who includes pre-secondary in their CV. If the list were to be overburdened in this way, it would need to be inverted: Certification of education (primary, secondary and tertiary) // Thanks
