German term

Digitalspur

German to English Tech/Engineering Automation & Robotics Controls
This term is used in connection with the controls for an oven/furnace (controlling the heating, air flow etc.) but in "normal" use it only seems to occur in connection with music (digital track).

Discussion

David Williams (asker) Jan 27, 2009:
No we have a list of parameters/controls (e.g. Heizung), each of which is preceded by "Digitalspur" and followed by the status (e.g. AUS).
Jonathan MacKerron Jan 27, 2009:
do we have a sentence?
David Williams (asker) Jan 27, 2009:
e.g. does "Digitalspur Heizung AUS" make any sense as "Digital track heating OFF"?

digital recording (channel)

This is what it sounds like to me, judging from the ref. In your case, maybe it shoudl be read as: the recording channel that stores the oven temperature is switched off.

agree Ken Cox : could also be digital logging (with a bit of imagination...).
