"Three grid resolutions are run at nominally {1.5, 3, 6} cm resolution (643 , 323 , and 163 cells for each 1 m3 block). [...] The results are rather insensitive to the grid resolution, except for the result for vertical velocity at z/D = 0.2 (lower left). Though this may arguably be related to the uncertainty of the inflow boundary condition (constant and uniform inlet conditions are specified), we will nevertheless examine the proposed quality metrics to see what (if any) patterns emerge."
