A typical example of such a rhythmic problem is with the Hungarian 'break step'. The 'cross-apart-together' sequence of the Full Break step occurs as a rhythmic pattern in a duple metre, usually at the end of a phrase, and the 'natural' tendency is to hurry the sequence so that the 'together' part finishes marginally before the second beat of the bar.
