I gave the dictionary meaning to ' forth'. I still insist it has nothing to do with ''fort' and certainly not' fortnight', unless there is a grammatical mistake.

But you haven't replied to my basic claim, that "Forth night" is not used in English. Also, "fortnight ending" does not show duration but, most probably, the period during which a trip may be taken/a ticket may be used.

FNE is just the initials of 'Forth Night Ending'. You might disagree with me,. but unless there is a spelling mistake, which I doubt, 'fortnight= δεκαπενθήμερο' is NOT right, and you would not get a 'fortnight' of ANYTHING for 15 Dollars. That's my opinion!

Καλημέρα. Δεν υπάρχει έκφραση «forth night» (πολύ λιγότερο «forth night ending»). Υποθέτω ότι στο κανονικό κείμενο χρησιμοποιούν τη συντομογραφία FNE, την οποία εξηγούν ανορθόγραφα σε κάποια σημείωση.

Forth=out, away, forwards as in forthright, forthcoming, forthwith and has nothing to do with 'fort-night'.

Θα το μετάφραζα, 'προς τη λήξη της νύκτας/ προς το τέλος της νύκτας'
