prosoparesis / prosopagnosis
Although "Prosoparese" and "Prosoplegie" are used for facial palsy in rare cases, I suspect an error here. Parieto-occipital location of the lesion fits with Prosopagnosie ("face blindness") better than with facial palsy, and Prosoparese isreally uncommon.
I would recommend to use either 'prosoparesis' or 'prosopagnosis' and add an explanatory note in either case.

: I agree with "prosoparesis"; and "prosopagnosis" is also known as "posopagnosia". .

: hmm, there are hardly any UK hits for this term. Isn't it facial paralysis/palsy?

Hardly any German hits for Prosoparese, either. That's why I suspect an error here, and that's why I would either offer "prosopagosia" with a translator's note, or the literal translation (= the unusual word 'prosoparesis') and add "[sic!]", for example.
