Spanish to English Marketing Marketing customer satisfaction survey from a gas supplier
Hi everyone,

I just have a few more questions that I'm hoping you will be kind enough to shed some light on.

This is from a customer satisfaction survey for a gas supplier.

The question asked was:

"Finally, do you have any additional comments to make regarding your experience with {business}?"

The full answer given was:

"Hace 12 años q estoy con vosotros.Los primeros años me costaba llenar el tanque sobre unos 900€(no llegaba).De hace unos 4 años estoy pagando casi 1800€.Es el doble,lo veo abusivo.Si no baja el precio del gas ,sintiendolo mucho tendre q dejar d ser cliente.Mi economia ahora no me lo permite."

This answer was provided by a private customer rather than a business customer.

I know this should be simple but I can't figure it out in the context. Is it saying that the gas didn't use to arrive (which doesn't make sense to me because he seems to be complaining just about the price not the fact it didn't arrive) or that it didn't quite reach 900 euros? Or is it something completely different?

This is from Spain to be translated into UK English.

Many thanks for your help :)

Kind regards,

Kerryann

The customer is saying that the cost of the filling tank was roughly just under EUR 900, i.e. it never even reached that amount then, but now it costs EUR 1800, which is more than double the amount.
