I'm losing my marbles here. Someone please lend me a hand!

[blindly] following the contour and very closely
Given the "context" provided, I'd with something like I am suggesting.
Reminds me the old-old joke: (tocador = boudoir)
--Perdone, ¿el tocador de señoras?
--Para servirle.
Greetings.

Helena Chavarria
: I'm not sure about 'blindly', but 'closely following the contours' is a reasonable solution.

Thank you, Helena. :-) Yes, the "blindly" was just for the context "a ciegas", i.e., before. If this is "massage", it is just a "tactile" experience, I guess. :-)

going into a curve at full speed
"blindfolded, going into a curve at full speed,"

If you want meaningful help, you should post more of the poem (or the entire poem, if it is not overly long) and share whatever your understanding is here of the relationship and metaphors being expressed.
