Italian term
antecedente il mese precedente
Italian to English
Other
Finance (general)
financing
Part of a financing contract. The clause to do with interest reads:
Tale quotazione sara' rilevata per data di contrattazione a sara' relativa al secondo giorno lavorativo bancario antecedente il mese precedente l'inizio del semestre in corso alla data delle singole erogazioni;
I understand the meaning of antecedente and precendente, but I'm not convinced I've got my head round how it's working - we seem to be going backwards twice. It seems to mean the second working banking day before the month preceding the start of the six-month period underway.....
It seems to work like this: Take a payment made on 10 August. The six-month period underway at that point started 1 August 2012. The month before it started is therefore July, and the second banking day before July would be 28 June. Does anyone agree?

… relative to the second banking day prior the beginning of the semester in which the single payments are scheduled.
I think that you are right, that would be June 28 in your example.
