printer heads are protected by sealing-off caps or similar when they are in rest position. But I admit that also "Verriegelung" is possible. It depends only on the context.

This sound to me a good alternative for the literal "Versiegelung" which doesn't make too much sense for a printer.

There is for example a \"Transportverriegelung\" , a \"Verriegelung\" of a machine for safety reasons (not to cut your fingers).
