Just finished translating “Entangled Empathy“ by Lori Gruen, my second book translation in Noordboek’s Animal Rights Library. Gruen makes a strong case for extending our empathy across species boundaries, underpinning her ethical reasoning with concrete examples that she often witnessed herself while working with chimpanzees in an animal shelter.

Just finished proofreading and editing the Dutch translation of Theodore Rosengarten's "All God's Dangers: The Life of Nate Shaw". Although this book dates back nearly half a century, Shaw's stories continue to captivate. "De kleur van katoen" ['The Color of Cotton' will be the Dutch title] is to be published this fall.
