What translation project are you working on right now?
Just finished translating “Entangled Empathy“ by Lori Gruen, my second book translation in Noordboek’s Animal Rights Library. Gruen makes a strong case for extending our empathy across species boundaries, underpinning her ethical reasoning with concrete examples that she often witnessed herself while working with chimpanzees in an animal shelter. 1 user Just finished proofreading and editing the Dutch translation of Theodore Rosengarten's "All God's Dangers: The Life of Nate Shaw". Although this book dates back nearly half a century, Shaw's stories continue to captivate. "De kleur van katoen" ['The Color of Cotton' will be the Dutch title] is to be published this fall. Just finished a set of editorial articles for the blog of a well-known sports shoes manufacturer, English to Dutch. The combination of marketing and journalism suited me very well! Just finished translating a retail questionaire, English to Dutch, 4000 words.
