I was born in Italy, but my parents are from the United States. I was brought up reading, writing and speaking both languages.
I have always been interested in writing from an analytical/critical point of view. I have done editing and translating work for many writers.
I also enjoy translating all kinds of texts, both literary and technical, because it is alway a way of refining my skills and possibly learning something new.From September 2007 to January 2016 I worked at Nabu International Literary and Film Agency in Florence, mainly dealing in Foreign Rights, both sales and acquisitions. Between 2014 and 2015 I also cooperated with the newly established publisher Spider&Fishas Acquisitions Editor.  I have, for many years, worked as a freelance translator and this is now my sole occupation. I work with individuals, agencies, and publishers. In the past few years I have cooperated with Contextus, the magazine Toscana & Chianti News, multimedia publisher C&T Crossmedia and the agencies Pepe Nymi,OS2, and Librofficina.
