Hi,
I've downloaded all the files for the EU's DGT-TM (explained and available here: http://langtech.jrc.it/DGT-TM.html#) and have been trying to extract them using the TMXtract file that comes with them (I've also downloaded the dll file), but when I try to import the resulting file into a Trados Studio 2011 TM created specifically for this purpose, the error message I get is "root element is missing". Even without doing that, I notice that the number of bytes of the the file they're going into goes up and down after I've supposedly extracted each file, giving me the impression that only one file is being saved at a time and is writing over the previous one. When I try to import, the file gives 0 bytes. I'm obviously doing something wrong here (although I specify the file to save to each time I select a file), but after three (failed) attempts to extract all 25 files, I thought I'd ask here.
I'm using Windows 7 and Trados Studio Freelance 2011.
Thanks in advance if you have a solution. ▲ Collapse
