Trados Studio 2009 で訳文生成時に文字化けします

Trados Studio 2009 を英語版 Windows XP Pro SP2 で使用しています。
英語→日本語の翻訳を終えて訳文生成すると、訳文ファイルが文字化けします。
生成時のエンコードは UTF-8、Shift-JIS、EUC などを選んで試しましたが結果は同じです。

バイリンガル ファイルの sdlxliff をエディターで開いて最初の行の "encoding=utf-8" を削除したりもしましたがダメでした。

どなたか解決方法をご存知の方はご教授ください。
