Can anyone help with information on short courses to become a translator in UK? I already have a degree and languages but need a specialised, short term course to become a translator with some form of speciality. Thank you for your help.

Depends on how short you want the course to be. The University of Surrey in Guildford offers an MA in translation program that can be completed in just under a year.
If you'd like something shorter, I believe they also offer short courses, but I have no further info on those and I'm not sure if they would provide you with a degree of some sorts. I'm sure you can find details on their ... See more

It depends on what you want to do but maybe the Community Translation course (CETS or Mary Ward Centre) is a good option, I have a friend who did the course and she really enjoyed it. You could also do the IoL Diploma in Translation but that takes longer.
