Bio

Hello!
Welcome to my profile!

My
career in the translation industry began in 2009, when I started working as an
intern proofreader at a translation agency called Fidelity Translations. The
company's core business is legal and/or sworn translations, and also business
and financial documents. I held this position for two years and was promoted to
assistant quality supervisor, where my main function was to work on checking and
correcting problems and queries raised by clients. I stayed in this position
for about a year and then, I was promoted again, to Project Manager. I held
this position for two more years, and during this time, I was already taking
translation jobs to do outside of working hours. Starting in October 2013, I
decided to become a freelance translator.

My
language pair are English>Portuguese and Spanish>Portuguese. My average
daily output is 3500 words. This average increases considerably when I'm
translating contracts, powers of attorney, and other legal documents, which are
my specialties. Working within this output average, I have no problem meeting deadlines,
delivering quality work and following precise guidelines. I also have a large
experience in finance and business domains.

Recently,
I've had the opportunity to work on game translation as well. I began working
in the game translation field two years ago, gaining initial experience with
the famous game Roblox. Since May 2023, have been translating for an MMORPG not
yet released. I successfully translated more than 200.000 words for this game
until now.
