Netscape crashes when opening German Wikipedia

Windows XP Media Center Edition (ie. basically XP Pro)
Netscape 8.1.2 (based on Firefox)

I usually access Google under www.google.de since I often also browse German websites.

Everytime, I try to open a German Wikipedia page, Netscape crashes. US Wikipedia pages are no problem.

I can open the same German Wikipedia pages with Windows IE without any problems.

Cookies are generally enabled. And I can't even open the site to check any site-specific settings.

I hope some other person has some idea, I'm afraid I do not.

I have FireFox and, actually, I have just entered in the English and German Wikipedia without allowing the cookies in the Tools>Options menu.
