Hello all,
I'm proofreading an academic article written in English by a French academic. The original document was line numbered, but the numbers on my proofread document now don't match and seem to skip numbers, i.e. 42 to 53 is missing. I've no idea what has happened or how to correct it, can anyone help?
Thanks in advance,
Anne

I simply tell my clients that this kind of fiddly formatting thing is their responsibility, unless they want to pay extra. And they never do
