Salary differences between Germany and the Netherlands

I would like to know if anybody knows how much German salaries for full-time employed translators (not freelancers) vary from Dutch salaries? I heard it\'s about 20%.
Can anybody tell me what a
\"normal\" German salary for a translator in a company would approximately be?

I\'m afraid this is a bit like asking what a word means without giving any context...
It depends on various factors such as the translator\'s work experience and the industry (e.g. software industry, engineering companies, banks).
Even if there are huge differences between countries in salaries before tax, it doesn\'t really mean much because you\'ll also have to compare the benefits (health insurance, pension scheme, etc.) offered by different companies and the tax rates and... See more
