Hi,
I am contacting you as I would like to ask the community what would be a minimum wage for a business developper recruiting new customers for a translation agency.
Would you also give bonuses, on which basis or achievements?
I would be happy to get your insights or experience

For any type of external sales force, I wouldn't pay a wage, but a commission on each project that they bring in. I want to make sure that I'm paying for a real and valuable service.

If I were to offer those services, I would ask for a 10-20% commission on the project, depending on the size and quality of the project. I would also ask for a 5% commission from any future projects from a client that I bring to the company.

It would also depend on how you're capturing clients for the agency. You could just set up a series of websites to capture traffic and direct it towards the agency, or you could target specific companies in a specific area that the agency wants. ▲ Collapse
