Hello Lovers of Arabic Literature,

I am currently enrolled in an academic Arabic>English translation program and am applying to a student translation competition, where the source material should be a 400-500-piece, preferably previously untranslated.

I've recently come across an essay about the exploration of human sexuality and homosexuality in Arabic literature. All the works cited there seem to have been previously translated, but what hasn't been? A stand alone short story, or excerpt from a larger piece that may come to mind?
