Hello everybody! My name is Konrad and I’m studying Mandarin at Stockholm university. I’d like to choose a Chinese name for myself, since I’ll be leaving for China in a year, however I’m having major difficulties doing so.
My professor suggested I seek help in this forum, so here I am!

Maybe I could incorporate these things in the Chinese name?

Personally I am also fond of words and phenomena such as lightnings, thunder, fire and wind, but this doesn’t help. While finding suitable direct translations for the words/meanings present within my full name, making it work as specific hanzi and an actual Chinese name one can use is a challenge.

Please help!

Thanks for your reply! ☺️ I explained it in the original question. Konrad is my given name, meaning “bold/brave/wise advisor”. My family name is Wroblewski, deriving from the Polish word “wróbel” meaning “sparrow”.
