Thanks a lot, J.H. These days I get tongue-tied easily carrying a conversation in Chinese, especially when the topic gets relatively broad and in-depth. You find yourself unwillingly creating long pauses, searching for words harder and more frequently, and sometimes even having to check yourself halfway through a sentence. I think over time, it happens to many folks living overseas from their native land to a varying degree. And I'm pretty sure in this case, it's not Alzheimer's.
